Product Description
NRT pot bearings ensure the transfer of loads between a structure's superstructure and its sub-structure. Meanwhile they can accommodate rotation and movements of the superstructure. NRT POT bearings are generally suitable for the use in any type of structure, and can be subjected to low or high loading and frequent movements and rotation.
NRT pot bearings are designed and manufactured acc. to customer requirements, in accordance with relevant standards such as EN 1337, AASHTO, BS5400 or AS 5100.a.

Steel
The austenitic steel used for sliding surfaces is X5CrNiMo17-12-2 in accordance with EN 10088-2 1.4401 with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm. The roughness is Ry5i ≤ 1 μm, The hardness ≥ 150 HV1 and ≤ 220 HV1.
PTFE
NRT uses only virgin PTFE without regenerated or filler materials.
The minimum thickness for bonded PTFE is 1.5 mm and varies in according with the bearings size and type.
The minimum thickness of recessed PTFE is 4.5 mm and varies in according with the bearings size.

Bridge Pot Bearings have been designed to be very easy to install, maintenance-free and cost-effective.Bridge Pot Bearings are designed for very high vertical, horizontal and lateral loads and where rotational structural displacements need to be accommodated.
Application of Lead Rubber Bearing :
The product has been successfully used in a broad range of applications which include: bridges, viaducts, high rise buildings, stadiums and dams.
Lead Rubber Bearing is classified as three types:
fixed bearing (restriction of all movement in planar axis);
guided bearing (restriction of movement in one direction in planar axis);
multi-directional bearing (allows movement in all planes and axes).
All three types can be designed to accommodate uplift loads, often required during construction or the life of the structure. The bearings are designed to be quickly and easily replaced due to the structural fastening and attachment strategy BL deploys.
Other marks:All of Bridge Pot designs, materials & fabrication processes can be adapted to client required manufacturing specifications or codes of practice; for any country. The bearing is designed to be maintenance free for the duration of its design life and operate down to extremely low temperatures, as low as -40 degrees Centigrade.
